In this segment, most users are first-time smartphone buyers or are upgrading from a very basic smartphone. Hence this is a critical segment to make or break a smartphone maker. Lenovo K8 Plus

Lenovo’s successor to last year’s K6 line-up, K8 Plus was initially launched for INR 10,999 but is now available for INR 9,999 on Flipkart. The USP of the device is the dual rear camera set-up and the huge 4,000mAh battery.

This year, Micromax had taken a step forward and had announced an 18:9 aspect ratio smartphone under INR 10,000. The Micromax Canvas Infinity comes with 5.7-inch 18:9 aspect ratio, Micromax calls the display as Full Vision Display. It is available on Flipkart for INR 9,999.

So, this was our list of smartphones under 10K that we had tested in 2017. We are sure there are many more smartphone makers like Xiaomi (which we don’t cover) and 10.or etc but as we haven’t tested those devices we haven’t included them on our list.
