Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1

HMD Global has unveiled the next generation Nokia 2, Nokia 3, and Nokia 5 which are dubbed as Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, Nokia 5.1 respectively. All three smartphones are Android One powered and will be upgradable to Android P very soon. These smartphones were announced at an event in Russia.Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1

All three smartphones get a minor upgrade in the display department with Nokia 2.1 and the Nokia 3.1 now sporting a 5.5-inch compared to 5-inch display on the previous gen. The Nokia 5.1 now features a 5.5-inch (1080×2160 pixels) FHD+ display as opposed to 5.2-inch display on the Nokia 5. The Nokia 2.1 is an entry-level smartphone and will come with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card support up to 128GB and it sports an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera, it is powered by a massive 4100mAh battery.Nokia 2.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 5.1 The Nokia 3.1 features a 5.2-inch (720 x 1440 pixels) HD+ 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, it is powered by MediaTek MT6750N processor clocked at 1.5GHz, Mali T860 GPU. It comes in 2/3GB RAM and 16/32GB internal storage options, with MicroSD card support up to 128GB. Finally, the Nokia 5.1 is the most powerful of all three and comes with a 5.5-inch (1080×2160 pixels) FHD+ display, powered by MediaTek Helio P18 MT6755S processor clocked at 2GHz, ARM Mali-T860 GPU. It houses 2/3GB RAM and 16/32GB internal storage, with MicroSD card support up to 128GB. In the optics department, it houses a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.0 aperture, and an 8MP front-facing camera, f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens. Also, it features fingerprint sensor at the rear. It is backed by a 3000mAh built-in battery.

Pricing and Availability

  • Nokia 2.1 is priced at 99 Euros (INR 7,791 approx.) and will be available in Blue/Copper, Blue/Silver, and Grey/Silver colors starting from July 2018.
  • Nokia 3.1 is priced at 139 Euros (INR 10,938 approx.) and will be available in Blue/Copper, Black/Chrome, and White/Iron colors starting from June 2018.
  • Nokia 5.1 is priced at 189 Euros (INR 14,875 approx.) and will be available in Copper, Tempered Blue, and Black colors starting from July 2018.
