HP India has announced their latest range of gaming laptops in India today with the announcements of Pavilion 15 and Omen 15 series laptops. The new Pavilion Gaming range targeted at mainstream gamers along and the new HP Omen 15 for performance and enthusiast gamers. The HP Omen series are powerful laptops in a smaller form factor with new gaming accessories, including the world’s first headset with active earcup cooling technology.
The HP Pavilion gaming lineup of notebooks are designed to meet the needs of users for mainstream gaming and other daily tasks. They come with 8th Gen Intel Core i7 H-series processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti GPU. The laptop includes a flexible variety of storage options with up to 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD for storage acceleration along with 8GB RAM. The Pavilion 15 comes with a 9.8mm thin Narrow bezel allow for immersive visuals on the 15.6-inch diagonal display and it is powered by B&O Play with HP Audio Boost technology supporting dual speakers, all mounted at the top of the keyboard deck for an immersive audio experience.
The laptop is having a robust cooling solution in the form of dual fans with exhaust vents located on the back corners of the laptop to help manage airflow and reduce heat. A 3-phase motor fan generates a stable torque while reducing vibrations and noise. The Wi-Fi comes with a 2×2 antenna on all configurations and an option supporting Gigabit speeds. Further, there is a new 3D Geometric Speaker Grill with a brushed aluminum keyboard deck and are available in Ultra-violet LED lighting with matching accents.
On the connectivity front, the laptop comes with 1 USB 3.1 Type-C, 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, One Headphone/Microphone-In Combo Jack, One RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet port, 1 HDMI 2.0 port. The wireless connectivity options include 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Miracast support. The Gaming laptop comes with a 52.5 WHr battery which also supports fast charge. It weighs 2.2 Kgs and is 2.74 mm thick.
