After months of international launch, Nokia finally launched the Lumia 925 in India for Rs 33,499. Though it was already available with online retailers. Apart from the Lumia 925, the Lumia 625 was launched for Rs 19,999. 

Lumia 925 has been much awaited Windows Phone for since its official global launch in May. The Lumia 925 is the first lumia device to adopt the aluminium chassis with a polycarbonate cap for the back. Thanks to this, it becomes the thinnest Lumia smartphone which measures 8.5mm and is lighter than the Lumia 920 at 139 grams.

The specs of Lumia 925 are not much different from the Lumia 920. It’s powered by the same dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage without microSD card slot support. Though it gets a better in the display department with an AMOLED display instead of the LCD on the Lumia 920.
The Lumia 925 has the same 8.7-megapixel PureView camera from the Lumia 920, but has a 6-element lens assembly with the sixth element being made up glass. As a part of the Amber update users will also get access to the Nokia Pro Camera app that was first shown off at the Nokia Lumia 1020 launch. It also has a 1.2-megapixel front facing camera and a 2,000-mAh battery.

Now to the budget Lumia launch – The Lumia 625 has the largest screen of any Lumia smartphone at 4.7-inches but has a WVGA resolution to keep it budgeted. The smartphone is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front facing camera.
