Enable review extensions for your ads right from your AdWords account

In June, Google announced the beta release of review extensions (http://goo.gl/y7l8mI), which showcase positive third party reviews, rankings, and awards from reputable sources in your ads. Seeing a review from a reputable source gives users valuable information that builds trust in your business.

We’ve already seen an enthusiastic response to review extensions and many of the advertisers who have implemented them have seen impressive results. For example, El Al (http://goo.gl/QZ05P4), Israel’s main airline, shared how implementing review extensions led to strong results: “We implemented review extensions over the last month, and after analyzing the results, we clearly see a 10% increase in clickthrough rate.”

Entering review extensions into AdWords is simple.
  • Click the Ad extensions tab, and select Review Extensions from the *View: dropdown button.
  • Click + Extension and select the campaign for which you want to create the extension.
  • Indicate if this is a paraphrased review or an exact quote, add the text, source, and source URL.
  • Click Save.
