Microsoft’s local cloud services completes one year of availability 

Since the launch in September 2015, Microsoft cloud services from local datacenters in India, have proved to be a platform that drives innovation and customer delight. Startups and developers are utilizing Microsoft cloud to fuel innovation and accelerate transformation for business verticals. The technology solutions created by these startups is now addressing key business issues faced by enterprise customers.

A survey conducted by Microsoft and international market research firm Wakefield Research indicates that Information Technology Decision Makers (ITDMs) in India, refer to Sales functions (CRM and ERP), Data Analytics and Internet of Things (IoT) as the top three services or applications that their organization would like to host on the public cloud.

To further enable startups and SMBs Microsoft will introduce pay-as-you-go model for them to access local cloud, by end of this year. Microsoft has expanded its cloud access for local customers by enabling Web Direct and Cloud Solution Provider channels, that makes it easy for developers and start-ups to use the local cloud.
