Vivo iQOO smartphone

Vivo announced its new sub-brand, iQOO last week officially in China. A week after the announcement, the company has teased several features of the upcoming iQOO brand smartphone on Weibo, China’s microblogging site.

The iQOO brand smartphone will come with a Full HD+ display(2340*1080p) along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is said to come with a 4000mAH battery with a whopping 44W fast charging capabilities. Also, it will come a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. The teaser also reveals that the smartphone will come with 4D gaming experience, NFC, and also Super HDR for the camera.Vivo iQOO smartphone Further, the smartphone will ship with the latest Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 7nm chipset with Adreno 640 GPU. For security, the device will pack in the sixth-gen In-display fingerprinter scanner, the successor to the Vivo Nex 2’s technology. It might come with the full-display fingerprint scanner technology as seen on the APEX 2019 which covers almost the entire display and enables users to touch almost anywhere on the screen to unlock the device when the user’s finger is close to the display, the pixels around the touch point will automatically light up as an additional light source to help obtain a clear fingerprint image. When users wake their device from an inactive screen and press on the corresponding app icon to scan their finger, they can unlock and gain direct access to the app so that the experience is faster and more efficient than before.

There is no much info on the device yet, especially about the camera. We might have to wait for a few more days to get more info and hopefully, the device will be launched pretty soon, at least in the Chinese market.
