Realme has launched its first device lineup of 2021, which includes the Realme X7 5G and the X7 Pro 5G. They were one of the most anticipated devices which have been hyped up in the tech space for a while and finally been launched by the brand in India. So, let’s have a look at what both of these devices have to offer on paper:-

Realme X7-

Moving toward the specs of the Realme X7 5G first, it sports a 6.4” Full HD+ AMOLED display. It comes with a refresh rate of 60Hz, it also comes with a screen to body ratio of 90.8%. The touch sampling rate of this phone is 180Hz with a peak brightness of up to 600 nits.

Now, for the performance of this device is concerned, it boasts a Mediatek Dimensity 800U chip inside which is coupled with the Mali G57 GPU. It lands in two variants with 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR4X Ram and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. As the chip in here is a 5G ready, it makes the phone a 5G phone as well.

Coming to the battery and charging of this phone, the phone comes with a 4,310mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 50W as well. But realme has mentioned that they will be shipping this phone with a 65W charger instead.

For the cameras, the Realme X7 boasts a quad-camera setup with the main camera being a 64-megapixel one. The other three cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and 2-megapixel depth and macro cameras.

The phone weighs 176grams, making it very lightweight phone. Coming to the software of this phone, it runs on Realme UI 1.0 based on Android 10.

Realme X7 Pro-

Now for the specs of the Realme X7 Pro 5G, it is quite similar to its smaller brother I.e, the Realme X7. It sports a bigger 6.55” Full HD+ AMOLED Display and also offers a higher 120Hz refresh rate display. With the touch sampling rate of this device, it is higher than the regular X7 coming in at 240Hz. Also, this display can go up to 1,200 nits and it also has 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, coupled with 103% coverage of the NTSC color space.

As far as the performance of this device is concerned, it comes with the Meditek Dimensity 1000+ chip, which is coupled with the Mali G77 GPU. The phone comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 8GB of UFS 2.1 storage. And as the Dimensity 1000+ chip is a 5G ready chip, it also comes with support for 5G.

In terms of battery, the Realme X7 Pro comes with a 4,500mAh battery and it supports max 65W charging with the 65W charger bundled in the box.

In terms of optics, the phone rocks a quad-camera setup, with the main camera being a 64-megapixel one. The camera sensor used in the primary camera is the Sony IMX 686. The other 3 cameras are an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and 2-megapixel depth and macro cameras.

Pricing and availability-

Now for the pricing and the availability, The Realme X7 is priced at INR 19,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, with the 8GB+128GB variant priced at INR 21,999. Meanwhile, the X7 Pro 5G is priced at INR 29,999 for 8+128GB. The first sale of the X7 Pro starts on 10 Feb at noon, while the X7 goes on sale from Feb 12, at Noon.
