Mi India launches Mi 11 Lite mid-range device. Xiaomi says that the new device packs all the perks of a flagship-level smartphone into an ultra-lightweight and stylish design, perfect for users seeking a high-end smartphone in a light form factor.

Commenting on the launch Raghu Reddy, Chief Business Officer Mi India said,The Mi brand aims to introduce products that are not only premium but are packed with best-in-class technology that our consumers can count on. Our recently launched Mi11 series have met consumers’ demand and requirements across the country. Mi 11X series has already crossed INR 300 Crores in a short period of time. Building on the success of Mi 11 series and after taking customer feedback into consideration, we are bringing one of the lightest and slimmest smartphones of 2021 in the country. With the launch of Mi 11 lite, we are bringing the perks of a flagship-level smartphone into an ultra-lightweight and stylish design. Providing a comfortable and lightweight in-hand feel, the device weighs just 157g and will suit the requirements of fashionable young audiences.

As for the device itself, it is just 6.8mm in thickness and ends up weighing in at 157g. It offers a comfortable and lightweight in-hand feel and comes in 3 colours Tuscany Coral, Jazz Blue and Vinyl Black. All three colour variants entail a unique look and style that makes them look aesthetically beautiful from all angles.

 

The front of the Mi 11 Lite sports a 6.55” 10-bit AMOLED Display and comes with 1.07 billion on-screen colours which is 64x more than its predecessor (8-bit display). It also features a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut ensuring vivid imagery, high colour accuracy, and colour retention. There is also the combination of a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The device features a dual speaker setup and is supported with Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.

In terms of optics, it comes with a triple-camera setup that features a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens along a 5MP tele macro camera. The 64MP camera can capture photos of professional grade with minimal effort. The 8MP ultra-wide sensor helps in capturing wide scenic shots, while the 5MP tele macro camera sensor marks the shots with ultra-fine details making the subjects stand out in the pictures. At the front, there is a 16MP front camera that can also shoot 4K videos with electronic image stabilization at 30 fps per second.

Under the hood, it gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC which is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2. As for the battery and charging, it gets a 4,250mAh battery and also there is 33W fast charging support. 

As for the pricing and availability, it would be available from June 28, 2021, starting 12:00 noon across Mi.com, Flipkart.com, Mi Home and Mi Studio, and authorised retail partners. It starts at INR 21,999 for 6GB + 128GB and INR 23,999 for 8GB + 128 GB variant.  Users also get early bird offers and HDFC bank offers, so they can purchase the device at an effective retail price is INR 18,999 for 6GB + 128GB, and for 8GB + 128GB for just 20,999.
