This was followed by a demo, and talk, on various cosmetic techniques by specialists from Asian Roots Spa. Cutty Sark and Sixth Element were gift-sponsors at the event.

Leher Sethi, who was also the Master of the Ceremony this evening, said, “Motherhood is a major learning curve. One minute you’re pregnant and the next you’re a feeding, swaddling, diapering, soothing machine. At the same time, you’re way out of your depth, struggling to navigate a stormy sea of new emotions. The emotional hurdles of motherhood are not easy.”

Pushpanjali Banerji from Kyndal Group at the event

Pushpanjali Banerji, Brand Director, Kyndal Group said, “It gives us great pleasure to be associated with the ‘Beautiful Mom’ event at Asian Roots spa. If anyone is entitled to time-out from their busy schedules to indulge themselves, it’s our mothers. Today, the world over, whisky isn’t just a man’s drink. The bold and distinct flavour of Cutty Sark is something our mothers will enjoy as much as our fathers. This makes the whisky a wonderful gift to buy for our moms.

During the course of the evening eloquent speeches were given and everyone enjoyed inspiring words by the Ambassador of Slovenia, and Ms. Ilmi. Other highlights included a lucky draw, the winners of which snagged beauty and fashion gift hampers. Asian Roots also arranged for some makeover and nail art sessions to pamper all the ladies present at the do. The guests thoroughly enjoyed pairing the smooth Cutty Sark scotch whisky with healthy and nutritious finger-foods.
