Windows 10 for PC’s have become more popular, now most of PC’s are running on Microsoft’s latest Windows 10. But when it comes to Smartphones (especially Lumia’s) the users were really waiting from long time to get this update. So the time has arrived to update windows 8.1 smartphones to Windows 10.
But sadly the update doesn’t come for all Windows 8.1 devices, some of the old one’s like most popular Lumia 520 will not be getting Windows 10 update. And even Lumia 920 which was running Windows 10 preview will not be getting update. Below listed are the Smartphones which is going to get windows 10 updates.
- Lumia 1520, 930, 640, 640 XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635, 636 1GB, 638, 430, 435
- BLU Win HD w510u, BLUWin HD LTE x150q and MCJ Madosma Q501.
To update these devices users must download and install Windows Updater app which lets user confirm that update will be hitting soon. Once you open it and done with it, make sure you check the “Enable Windows 10 upgrade” option and tap on Next. Then when it says it’s ready to upgrade, just tap Done.
