Gionee India has sent out invites for a smartphone launch on 22nd August. As per the invite, we can judge it’s a selfie-centric smartphone with a front flash for #SelfieWithFlash. In the last few days, we have seen Oppo and Coolpad launch selfie focussed smartphones in India.
We are expecting a new model in the Gionee’s successful S series line-up so you can expect a really slim smartphone with a front flash and a great selfie camera. If you are not aware of Gionee’s line up of devices then they are primarily –
S series – Slim series S5.1, S5.5, S8 etc
M series – Marathon Battery series M5, M6
E series – Photography series E7, E8
P series – Power series P4 etc
F series – Fashion series F103 etc
Just last week we were in Beijing, China for the launch of Gionee Marathon M6 smartphone.
