Fujifilm has announced a global partnership and a global tour sponsorship with worldwide-renowned singer, songwriter, musician, producer and 10-time GRAMMY award-winner Taylor Swift for its instax series of instant cameras. A sweeping promotional campaign for instax will be rolled out worldwide with Taylor’s participation, starting in summer 2018.
Fujifilm’s instax series of instant cameras, which let users shoot pictures and make beautiful color prints on the spot, has been a global hit in more than 100 countries and regions. In India, the Instax mini 9 was launched for INR 5,999 and is equipped with a close-up lens in addition to features such as automatic exposure measurement for aperture settings and high-key mode that enables users to take brighter photos for portraits. Instant Photography has experienced much interest in recent years and Instax has found favor amongst a broad range of customers. One single physical print which captures a one-off moment has become more and more valuable amidst a modern avalanche of highly edited digital shots.
Some of the features of instax include Selfie Mirror, Close-up lens attachment, and Brightness adjustment. This year, as instax celebrates its 20th anniversary, Fujifilm aims to further explode in popularity through a major campaign in collaboration with Taylor Swift, who has approximately 300 million global social media followers and unparalleled influence among young people.
