Amazon Fire TV Stick

Amazon today announced that the latest software update rolled out for the Fire TV Stick 4K enables screen mirroring feature, which was one of the top requested features by the users. The new update allows users to seamlessly mirror their personal devices and is enabled as soon as they update their device with the latest software version. Screen mirroring was available since launch on the Amazon Fire TV Stick with the All-New Alexa Voice Remote.

How to use screen mirroring feature?

Using screen mirroring is easy – you just press and hold the “Home” button on the Alexa Voice Remote and select the mirroring option. The Amazon Fire TV Stick detects all compatible devices within 30 feet. Users can then enjoy this feature by pressing any button on their Alexa Voice Remote.Fire TV Stick 4K

Amazon had announced Fire TV Stick 4K with Dolby Vision, HDR10+ support and Alexa Voice Remote in India back in October 2018 and was made available from November 2018. The Fire TV Stick 4K features a new quad-core 1.7GHz processor, delivering a fast streaming experience and gives you access to the vast catalog of content currently available on Fire TV including 4K Ultra HD, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ titles. It is the first streaming media stick available with Dolby Vision. By saying “Alexa, show me K TV shows” or “Alexa, watch Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan” you can get the 4K contents easily. You can also enjoy 3D surround sound when connected to compatible home audio systems.

You can also pair any of your Echo devices with your Fire TV for easy control of your entertainment experience using Alexa, hands-free. Just ask Alexa to play and search for movies and TV shows, launch apps, and control playback on your Fire TV without lifting a finger.
