For the past couple of days, social media sites such as Reddit and Twitter have been inundated with complaints from users regarding their Mi A3 device becoming dead or stuck in a boot loop after the Android 11 update. Some users who visited a Mi service centre with their devices were asked to pay amounts as high as Rs 12,000 for getting their devices fixed.
The company in a statement said “We are aware of the issue on some Mi A3 devices following a recent Android 11 update. We have since halted the rollout.
