Sony introduces three New High-Performance G Lenses in India. These lenses are added to the E-mount line-up FE 50mm F2.5 G (model SEL50F25G), FE 40mm F2.5 G (model SEL40F25G), and FE 24mm F2.8 G (model SEL24F28G).

Commenting on the launch Mukesh Srivastava, Digital Imaging Head at Sony India said, “At Sony, we believe that constant innovation is the key to produce the tools that creators need to capture the beauty and emotions. With superb resolution and mesmerizing bokeh, packed in a compact and sophisticated design, the FE 50mm F2.5 G, FE 40mm F2.5 G and FE 24mm F2.8 G enable users to experience the joy of owning lenses that capture different perspectives of the same scene”.

According to Sony, “all of the three lenses are designed to deliver the high image quality and beautiful bokeh in a lightweight and compact design.” These new lenses are perfect for photographers and videographers who are looking for easy mobility. When these lenses would be paired with a Sony full-frame camera or APS-C, they can give high resolution, better operability, fast precision while offering good autofocus capabilities too.

As for the pricing, the FE 50mm F2.5 G is priced at Rs. 66,990, whereas the FE 40mm F2.5 G is also priced at Rs. 66,990. Last but not the least, there is also the FE 24mm F2.8 G which again is priced at Rs. 66,990.

So all these lenses are priced similarly, and users can pick the one which suits them the best. As for the availability, they would be available from 19th April 2021 onwards on Sony Centers, Alpha Flagship stores, www.ShopatSC.com portal, and major electronic stores across India too.
