Xiaomi extends Warranty by 2

Xiaomi extends the Warranty by 2 months for those ending in May and June. This is being done because of the ongoing COVID-19 related lockdowns in India, the pandemic has stopped customers from leaving their homes. This also means that they can’t go to service centres, however, Xiaomi has now also joined the warranty extension after Vivo and Poco did it. According to some reports, customers can book an appointment for after-sales support from the website.

Xiaomi India even made a tweet regarding the same. The link for the tweet is mentioned below, for a better overview-

This expansion of the warranty will help all the customers to still get their device serviced within warranty regulations for an additional two months. This would be limited till August, and only for those whose warranty expires in the month of June, this year. This can be done without leaving the house, as customers would be able to book an appointment for after-sales support from the website.

We also witnessed Vivo and Poco extending the warranty on their devices too. We hope just like Xiaomi India, more companies would follow up soon, as this COVID-19 pandemic does not allow us to go outside our houses. If more companies do it, then it would really help every user as mobile phones are something that has become essential at these times.
