Apart from the Galaxy smartphones and foldable phone announcement at the event last night, the Korean giant also announced three new wearable devices – Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit, and Galaxy Buds. These devices are sleek, modern and make it easier to manage fitness and wellbeing.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active
The watch comes with a 1.1-inch 28mm 360 x 360 Full-Color Always on AMOLED Display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection up front. It is powered by a 1.15 GHz dual-core Exynos 9110 processor with 768MB RAM and 4GB Internal Memory. The watch is running on Samsung’s own Tizen-based Wearable OS 4.0 and is packed with a 230mAH battery which charges via WPC-based wireless charging. It is compatible with Android and iOS and features popular third-party apps—including Armour, Spotify, and Strava. You can use your voice to control Galaxy Watch Active with Bixby’s voice capabilities that allow you to make calls or send messages.
Galaxy Watch Active will be available in the US starting on March 8, 2019, for $199.99 at Samsung.com and major retailers. Consumers who pre-order Galaxy Watch Active starting February 21 through March 7, 2019, will receive a free Wireless Charging Pad.
Samsung Galaxy Fit
The Galaxy Fit is a fitness band that comes with Black and Silver color options with a 0.95-inch (120 x 240) Full-color AMOLED display, it is powered by an MCU Cortex M33F 96MHz + M0 16 MHz processor and runs on Realtime OS. The band weighs in at just 24g. It comes with 512KB internal RAM, 2048KB external RAM, and 32MB ROM. The band is packed with 120mAH battery that charges via NFC wireless technology.
Connectivity options include BLE and the sensors include HRM, Accelerometer, Gyroscope. The band is also 5ATM water resistance and is MIL-STD 810G certified. The band is compatible with Samsung Galaxy, Android 5.0 or above with more than 1.5GB RAM and iPhone 5 and above, iOS 9.0 or above. You can also manually select from more than 90 different activities in the Samsung Health app on your smartphone, and Galaxy Fit will automatically start to track your chosen workout. Plus, with enhanced sleep analysis and smart stress management, you can monitor your wellbeing at any time of the day.

You will receive alerts and messages or you can check the widget which includes information synced from your smartphone like alarm, calendar or weather without needing to touch your phone. When you travel to a new time zone, your Galaxy Fit will also automatically display a dual-clock watch face to make it easier to manage your schedule.
Galaxy Fit will be available in Q2 2019.
Samsung Galaxy Buds
Galaxy buds is the successor to the Gear Icon X series earbuds, the newest Galaxy Buds features Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and Accelerometer, Proximity, Hall, Touch, Ear on/off detection sensors. It features 5.8pi Dynamic Driver and is packed with a 58mAH(Earbud)/252mAH(Charging case) battery and charges via USB Type-C port.
Galaxy Buds integrate with Bixby on the latest Galaxy mobile devices so you can activate your intelligent assistant quickly without ever picking up your phone. Simply use your voice to make calls, send text messages or check the battery life of your earbuds.
Galaxy Buds will be available for $129.99 on Samsung.com and major retailers and carriers starting March 8, 2019. For a limited time, consumers who pre-order a Galaxy S10 or Galaxy S10+ on Samsung.com will receive a free pair of Galaxy Buds.
