Microsoft to unveil Next Generation Windows version on 24th June

0

Microsoft unveils the Next Generation Windows version on 24th June via a virtual event. We expect this new Windows update will unlock economic opportunities for both the developers and creators too. There have been a lot of reports according to which, this could be a very significant update. There is also an internal codename given to this project, which is ‘Project Sun Valley’. While we are not completely sure, we expect it to be a new OS update for Windows 10 and bring UI changes with a new Windows app store too. Both of the stuff hasn’t been changed a lot since the first time they got announced in 2015.

Commenting on this Satya Nadella Microsoft Corporation- CEO said, “Soon we will share one of the most significant updates to Windows of the past decade to unlock greater economic opportunity for developers and creators. I’ve been self-hosting it over the past several months, and I’m incredibly excited about the next generation of Windows. Our promise to you is this: we will create more opportunity for every Windows developer today and welcome every creator who is looking for the most innovative, new, open platform to build and distribute and monetize applications.”

We do not expect it to be a new OS, as with the launch of Windows 10 in 2015, the maker had already confirmed that there would be no new Windows OS coming from now on, only Windows 10 would be getting updates. They even confirmed that there would be no launch for Windows 10X anytime soon, so we expect it to be a big update to the existing OS for now.
