Amazon has unveiled new Kindle that is Thinner, Lighter than its predecessor and it costs Rs. 5,999 in India. New Amazon Kindle is just 9.1mm thick and weight 161 grams. Also it comes with Flat back design and comes in 2 color options White and Black.

The device is sporting a 6″ Display with 600*800 resolution and 167 pixel per inch pixel density. It also has Bluetooth Audio Support which helps blind people. Users can get the audio output via Bluetooth speakers or headset. The Kindle also lets you email notes and highlights in PDF and spreadsheet form to yourself, which will eventually roll out to other Kindle models soon.

The new Kindle comes with WiFi 802.11 b/g/n support, has 4GB of internal storage to store thousands of books and offers up to 4 weeks of battery life.
