A few moments ago Apple unveiled iOS 8 with a number of new features.
The new iOS will be available to download for developers starting today, and this Fall for the public. The same time around we should see new the iPhones and iPads. As with each iteration, Apple releases the list of devices that will be able to update to its latest OS. Here is the list of devices that will support iOS 8:
- iPhone 4s
- iPhone 5
- iPhone 5c
- iPhone 5s
- iPod touch 5th generation
- iPad 2
- iPad with Retina display
- iPad Air
- iPad mini
- iPad mini with Retina display
It will be interesting to see how iPhone 4s and iPad 2 run on iOS 8. And we can also officially declare it as the death of iPhone 4 and the original iPad.
