Honor has announced the successor to Honor 5X, as of now Honor 6X is announced for US market and other few markets. But the device will be launching in India later this month. The device is priced at $249.99 and will be available from 11th of this month on their official website.
The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s in-house Chipset, Kirin 655 coupled with Mali GPU. It comes with a 5.5″ Full HD LCD Display with 403 ppi. Honor 6X is available in 2 variants depending on the market, one with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and other with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, it also supports MicroSD card if you don’t want to use the second SIM thanks to the Hybrid SIM slot.
The main attraction of the smartphone is its dual rear camera which accompanies two sensors, one with 12MP and the other with 2MP. The dual camera setup helps to take sharper and richer pictures. Other features of camera are Wide aperture range from F/0.95-F/16, Wide aperture mode, professional mode, food mode, perfect selfie, beauty mode, makeup mode for the front camera, panorama, HDR, watermark, audio note, ultra snapshot, best photo, smile snapshot, audio control, timer function, touch to capture, and time-lapse mode. The front houses an 8-MP camera.
The device is packed with a 3340mAh battery. It runs on EMUI 4.1 skin on top of Android Marshmallow. Connectivity options include 3.5 mm headphone jack, BT 4.1, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS/BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, 2.4 GHz. The device is available in Gold, Gray and Silver colour options.
