This smartphone is the reason why there will be no Flagship killer this year

Before, I reveal the smartphone that is ruling 2017 in every aspect. I’d like to explain what exactly entitles a smartphone to be called a Flagship device and some devices as a Flagship killer.

The word Flagship means ‘the best or the most important thing owned or produced by a particular organisation.’ So is the case with tech companies or smartphone makers, as they launch their best each year. These flagship smartphones have the best of specs and industry leading set of features.

Almost all established smartphone makers like Samsung, LG, HTC, Sony, Moto and now even Google launch their flagship devices each year.

And then some companies like OnePlus, Honor and a few more come up with smartphones that are equally specced or even higher in the case of ‘Never Settle’ people at OnePlus. This is how the term ‘Flagship Killer’ was coined.

Until last year these Flagship killer smartphones gave a good fight to the latest and the greatest smartphones out there. But not anymore! It’s not that the companies like OnePlus or Honor have started making less powerful smartphones. Instead, it’s because Samsung launched the most advanced smartphone it ever made.

Yes! It’s Samsung’s Flagship of the year – the Galaxy S8.

Just look at this beauty! This picture was clicked by me at Taj Palace Hotel and has been doing the rounds on the internet.

You can check it out on my Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/nikhilchawla/

Trust me, the Galaxy S8 is mesmerising in every way. Be it the display, the performance, the build quality, the curves, the camera and even the wide range of colours it comes in. But, that isn’t suffice for you guys to buy it over smartphones like OnePlus 5, right?

So here are my 5 reasons why Samsung Galaxy S8 has killed other Flagship and Flagship Killer smartphones alike –

1. Infinity Display

There is nothing like it! Samsung has crafted the most beautiful display on a smartphone ever. It’s the most immersive screen on a smartphone of this size. The display has an incredible end-to-end screen, no wonder it’s called Infinity Display. It’s so pristine that it makes other smartphones look archaic.

2. Iris Scanner

Fan of Sci-Fi movies like Minority Report or Matrix? Well, guess what? Samsung has incorporated the easiest and secure way to unlock your smartphone. You can unlock the Galaxy S8 just by looking at it. It’s magical! In a split second the Iris scanner on the device unlocks the device and as no two Iris are identical it’s one of the safest ways to keep your data secure.

3. Samsung Pay

I’m a fan of Samsung Pay since it launched in India. It’s the simplest and most secure way to pay. It works everywhere you can swipe or tap your card. And it also is the most futuristic way to pay. Isn’t it?

4. Processing Power

The Galaxy S8 is powered by the World’s first 10nm processor. It’s fast, powerful and increases battery efficiency. The most advanced phone also has the best processing power on a smartphone.

5. Dex

I’m not sure how many of you love working from a comfort of a desk rather than a smartphone. I for sure leave no option of working from a desk where I have desktop setup or a laptop connected to a big monitor. I guess, Samsung heard my prayers and launched DeX lets you connect your Galaxy S8/S8+ to a monitor, keyboard and mouse for a desktop experience powered by your phone. So you can turn any place into a workplace.
