Garmin India has announced the launch of its newest activity tracker – Vivofit 4. The new activity tracker promises a battery life of over a year without taking a break to recharge the device. It is priced competitively at INR 4,999, the tracker follows your progress 24 X 7 and can be safely worn even while showering or swimming. The Vivofit 4 will be exclusively available on Amazon in Black, White, and Black Speckle and is available in two sizes – Regular and Large. The tracker has various features such as time, date, daylight saving, alarm clock, timer, and stopwatch. It tracks steps taken, distance covered, calories burnt, monitors sleep as well as suggests personalized step goal for the day. The tracker will automatically capture and classify different activities such as walking, running, biking, swimming, and using an elliptical. The new Vivofit 4 also tracks the periods of inactivity, with a colored move bar filling up to alert the user that they have been stationary for too long. The tracker also comes with an always-on sunlight-visible color display with 88 x 88 pixels. Finally, it features Bluetooth to connect to Android and iPhone devices.
