Thomson launches new Smart TV range in India starting at INR 13,490

French-based company, Thomson has announced new Smart TV range in India. The company has announced 43-inch UHD 4K Smart TV, 40-inch Smart TV, and 32-inch smart TV.  This is an exclusive licensing agreement with SPPL (Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd.), and the Smart TVs will be available on Flipkart starting at from April 13th.

The 32-inch and 40-inch Smart TV’s come with 1366 x 768 HD LED display with a refresh rate of 60Hz and 1920 x 1080 Full HD display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. On the connectivity front, they both include 3 x HDMI, 2 x USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and RJ 45. The TVs come with ARM Cortex CA53 64-bit, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. In the audio area, they come with 2 20W Free-edge Speaker with surround technology. It is powered by ARM Cortex CA53 64-bit, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. Connectivity options include 3 x HDMI, 2 x USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and RJ 45. It sports 2 bottom firing 20W speakers with surround technology. It is running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Thomson launches new Smart TV range in India starting at INR 13,490All three Smart TVs can Download any TV App from the play store, App Store, Browser, Micracast, Quick Interface, Live Internet TV, Pre-download App YouTube, Netflix. The 32-inch Smart TV is priced at INR 13,490, the 40-inch Smart TV is priced at INR INR 19,990 and the 43 UHD 4K Smart TV is priced at INR 27,999.

While technology and innovation remains the core of it, we have worked on many aspects of TV keeping in mind the Indian palate for aesthetics, color and sound”.

  1. Alright. That’s a straight away competition to Xiaomi. And I would say a tough one. Cuz it’s amdroid and then everyone knows Thomson’s history.
