Moto E6

Motorola’s E series smartphones line-up is one of the most affordable smartphones over the years and today, the company has added Moto E6 to the same portfolio. The Moto E6 is the successor to the last year Moto E5. The device comes with an updated chipset but, has sacrificed on the fingerprint scanner and the bigger battery compared to the last-gen.

Upfront, the Moto E6 features with a 5.5-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ 18:9 Max Vision IPS display. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 clocked at 1.4GHz, Adreno 505 GPU. The device comes with 2GB RAM with 16GB internal storage with microSD card support up to 256GB. It is running on Android 9 Pie and is packed with a 3000mAH battery with 5W charging and micro USB.

Over to the optics, the Moto E6 comes with a 13MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture, and the features include up to 8x digital zoom, Burst shot, Auto HDR, Timer, High res zoom, Portrait mode, Panorama, Manual mode, RAW photo output, Spot color, Best shot, Live filter, Google Lens. And, over at the front, it houses a 5MP selfie camera with screen flash, f2.0, 1.12um pixels. Other features of the device include Water repellent P2i nano-coating, 3.5mm audio jack, front speaker, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, and FM Radio.

Pricing and Availability

The Moto E6 is priced at $149 (INR 10,294) in the US. It will be available at Verizon, T-Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Boost Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Consumer Cellular, and Xfinity Mobile. In Canada, the new moto E6 will be available starting this summer.
