Zendesk Launches Sell Marketplace

Zendesk, a CRM company that builds support, sales, and customer engagement software to provide better customer relationships has announced the Zendesk Marketplace for Sell apps, which provides companies’ sales teams with a central place to access critical customer information from additional tools in the sales stack.

With Sell Marketplace, sales reps can now access important customer context from various marketing, quoting, storage and invoicing tools directly within the Zendesk Sell interface to create a single, comprehensive profile of the prospective customer.

Zendesk Launches Sell Marketplace

With the addition of Sell apps to the Marketplace, Zendesk offers a full range of benefits to companies, including:

  • Install apps and integrations from Sell partners including Mailchimp, Dropbox, Pandadoc, and more
  • Get access to partner apps that include multiple Zendesk Support apps now enabled for Sell
  • Build integrations for Sell with other Zendesk products including Support and Chat to further increase product functionality

Earlier this month, Zendesk also released the Zendesk Customer Experience Trends Report 2020, a study of more than 45,000 global companies using Zendesk. The report found that high-performing sales and service teams are successfully collaborating with an open and modern CRM platform in order to secure deals and achieve longer-term business success. In addition to extending the capabilities of both Zendesk Sell and Support, the Zendesk Marketplace enables both sales and service teams to better understand each individual customer in order to provide a consistent experience.

“Customers increasingly expect companies to collaborate internally and with partners on delivering a great experience, from education to consideration to purchase and when issues need attention,” said Adrian McDermott, President of Products, Zendesk. “With these new apps, we are helping sales teams access more meaningful information as well as a platform to work hand-in-hand with customer service agents and other internal teams.”

“We’re excited to partner with Zendesk and bring quoting even closer to Sell and the sales rep’s experience,” said Mikita Mikado, CEO, PandaDoc. “We look forward to making it faster and easier to create, eSign, and track sales documents with customers.”
