Vivo India on Monday introduced the Y51A smartphone running Android 11 based Funtouch OS 11, the Snapdragon 662 chipset, 48-megapixel cameras and more. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The Y51A appears to be deriving its roots from the previously launched Y51.

Vivo Y51A Specifications

The Vivo Y51A sports a 6.58-inch full-HD+ LCD display and runs on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 software. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s an option to further expand the storage via a dedicated microSD card (up to 1TB).

As for the optics, the phone features a triple rear camera setup comprising of a primary 48-megapixel sensor coupled with f/1.79 lens, a secondary 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide f/2.2 lens, and a tertiary 2-megapixel additional shooter with f/2.4 lens. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

The phone is being driven by a 5,000mAh with 18W fast-charging support. Other Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, GPS, and more. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric security.

Vivo Y51A Pricing

The Vivo Y51A has been priced in India at Rs. 17,990 for the single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Currently, the phone is available in two colour options namely Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony.
