Canon India announces 3 new Projectors in India

Canon India today announced the launch of new models under their projector series, thereby strengthening Canon’s projection portfolio. The newly launched Projectors are LX-MU800Z, XEED WUX6010 and XEED WUX 450ST.

Product Specifications and Features

  • XEED WUX6010/WUX450ST:

The WUX6010 and WUX450ST projectors are based on LCOS technology, which works in combination with the Canon AISYS system to produce outstandingly smooth images. The Brightness, Color Rendition, Contrast and Picture uniformity is better compared to the other two projection technologies, namely DLP (Digital Light Processing) and LCD.

The HDBaseT input port enables you to transmit HD images, audio and control signals via a single cable of up to 100m in length with no loss of quality. Equipped with Four-point keystone correction feature, users can keep their projected image sharp and precise even when projecting at an angle.

The XEED WUX450ST comes with standard Wi-Fi connectivity to ensure seamless projection without any requirement of wires and cables without any time lag.

  • LX-MU800Z:

LX-MU800Z is the company’s first single-chip DLP projector with a Laser Phosphor Light Source, which results in longer lamp life and delivers a maximum brightness of 8,000 lumens, for up to 20,000 hours. This results in lower running cost and reduces the need for the projector to power up/shutdown, as the need to warm up or cool down the lamp is eliminated.

The LX-MU800Z comes with flexible 360-degree installation orientations at all angles on the vertical axis. The LX-MU800Z projector comes with multiple connectivity options 3G-SDI, HDMI, DVI-D, and a built-in HDBaseT™ receiver. This allows uncompressed HD video, audio, and control signals to be transmitted over a single LAN cable with a maximum distance up to 100 meters. The LX-MU800Z is also compatible with Crestron, AMX, and Extron devices enabling control and the monitoring of multiple projectors on a network.

Mr. K. Bhaskhar, VP – Business Imaging Solutions Division, Canon India said, “We have witnessed a shift in the usage pattern of projectors among Indian consumers. This has led to the diversification of the projection requirements, which is extending beyond conference rooms now. In accordance to our constant pursuit of developing innovation led products, we are excited to introduce our new range of projectors. The new models offer unmatched image quality and brightness along with lower operating costs enabling both businesses and end-users to deliver optimum results at a minimum cost.”
