For the first time Google has officially brought a device into the Indian market by pushing it through its Google Play Store.

The Google Nexus 7(16 GB) can be bought online at Rs 15,999. The shipping starts April 5 and the 7-inch tablet is certainly one of the most-awaited tablets in the Indian market.

What makes it special? It’s Google’s flagship tablet and has a micro USB port (unlike Apple’s iPads).
Currently, the WiFi only 16 GB is the only version available for purchase via the online store in India.

The device comes with a 1.2MP front-facing camera, quad-core processor, 4325 mAH (Up to 8 hours of active use) battery and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).
