DSCI recognized the concerted efforts of HSC in institutionalizing the information security & privacy practices in the company with a top down approach. HSC could demonstrate its sustainable approach by addressing all the three key aspects of security – matured processes, well informed people with ownership at all levels and the state of art tools to help the enforcement & compliance. HSC could also demonstrate an edge over its peers due to innovative use of some open source based tools to enhance the code quality and the security, the framework of Open Source Software (OSS) usage and its compliance by means of sophisticated tools as part of its development strategy & HSC’s comprehensive and automated security incident management system which ensures a continuous feedback and improvement in the security ecosystem of the organization.
