Oppo is all set to bring a new entry-level smartphone to India with a new sub-brand, Realme. Oppo today announced a strategic association with Amazon India for the exclusive launch of its first product. The smartphone is targeted at the youth-centric and the Realme 1 will be launched on May 15, 2018.
The Realme smartphones from Oppo will be a range of devices ‘Made for and in India’, will share OPPO’s production line in the country. Manufactured by OPPO factories, the brand assures high quality at affordable prices. Primarily catering to the diverse needs of the young Indian consumers present online, Realme will offer beautifully designed and power packed choices in the range of INR 10,000-20,000 on India’s largest marketplace, Amazon India. The brand plans more premium product launches in the near future.According to the teaser on Amazon.in, the smartphone will sport a diamond glass back and will come with a single rear camera with LED flash. Also, there will a front fingerprint scanner. Further details of the smartphones have not been revealed yet, stay tuned for more on that.
