Nokia 9 PureView

At the Mobile World Congress 2019, HMD Global, the house of Nokia smartphones will be unveiling Nokia 9 PureView flagship smartphone. The MWC 2019 will kick start from February 25 and will go on till February 28. The Nokia 9 PureView will most likely be announced at a Pre MWC press meet at Barcelona.

In a forum post, a Nokia staff said, “We’re happy to announce that we will be livestreaming our MWC 2019 event on the 24th of February! Please check out this space closer to the date for updates on how to catch Juho, and the rest of the HMD Global team live from the stage in Barcelona! In the meanwhile, please save the date!”Nokia 9 PureViewNokia 9 PureView promo video was leaked a month ago and here is what we can expect from Nokia. The Nokia 9 PureView will come with a 5.99-inch Quad-HD/2K edge-to-edge PureDisplay. It will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner, a first for a Nokia device. The device, as expected runs on Google’s Android One software with no bloatware and near stock Android with Two years of guaranteed Android Upgrade and it will also receive regular security updates. It will run on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 845 SoC and Adreno 630 GPU. It is expected to pack up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage and also the device will be supporting Qi-wireless charging as it comes with the glass back design. Also, as per some rumors, the phone is expected to be IP68 certified for water and dust resistant.

Coming to the camera, which will be the UPS of the device once launched, Nokia 9 PureView will be featuring a Penta-camera setup(5 cameras) with ZEISS optics. With the rear cameras, users will be able to capture 5 simultaneous shots, 10X more light can be captured, more detailed shots and also crisp HDR shots. It also comes with shot re-focus feature for depth-of-field control.
