Sony has announced the ultra-compact Sony Alpha 7C full-frame mirrorless camera in India which was previously announced in North America about two months back. The Alpha 7C has been specifically made for bloggers, where the C stands for “Compact”. The Alpha 7C camera shares quite a few characteristics with the Sony a7III. The A7C sports a 24.2-megapixel Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor, BIONZ X image processor, 5-axis in-body image stabilization, 4K video recording, 10fps continuous shooting speed, and more.

It is certainly bundled up features such as 15-stop dynamic range, standard ISO up to 51,200, real-time tracking AF with 693-point focal-plane phase-detection. Being a compact camera, the 7C weighs just about 509 grams; “The Alpha 7C is similar in size and weight to an APS-C camera, with only 1 percent more weight than the Alpha 6600” – claims the brand.

The company has also incorporated a 2.35 million dot 0.39-inch viewfinder with a magnification of 0.59x. Additionally, there’s a touch-screen LCD display with about 921 thousand dots for better visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
