Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has always been very popular in the Indian market. The company’s last year’s Redmi Note Pro series, namely the Redmi Note 10 Pro and the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max did wonders for the company and they were one of the best in their segments. Now, for 2022, the company recently launched the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, which is its flagship Redmi smartphone. PROS:

Display – The new Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus gets a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz refresh rate and 320Hz touch sampling support. This is an amazing display with good viewing angles.

Performance – The latest Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor and while it is not gaming-centric, it offers a good balance of all with great day-to-day performance.

Primary Rear Camera – The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus gets a 108 MP primary rear camera. This sensor captures great shots with good details and even the images shot at night turn out to be decent.

5G Support – Being powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is 5G compatible.

Battery – The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus features a massive 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It offers great battery life.

CONS:

Secondary Cameras – While the primary rear camera of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is really good, its secondary cameras are just average. Moreover, it gets a 2 MP macro sensor which is a downgrade from its predecessor.

Price – The price of the new Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus starts at Rs 20,999 for the 6 GB + 128 GB version and it goes up to Rs 24,999 for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant, which seems a bit on the higher side.

No Android 12 – While the rivals have started offering Android 12 out of the box, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus still runs on Android 11.

Sibling offers better value – The Redmi Note 11 Pro, its younger sibling, turns out to be a more value for money smartphone for someone who doesn’t want 5G connectivity.
