Before I share my experience of the Sunsilk Perfect Straight Shampoo and Conditioner, I would like to throw some light on how tough it was to find the right product for my hair. After endless consultations, various salons and trying almost all tres hair care products, I zeroed down on the L’Oreal Professional Shampoo for straight hair. Oh ya! I have got my hair straightened, it’s been almost 3 years now and yes I go for the annual/bi-annual maintenance(smoothening) for the same.

The reason I had to go from east to west trying to find the best is that my hair and scalp have a peculiar problem of being flaky and dry during the day but excessively oily at night. For the same reason I have to shampoo and condition my hair everyday and sometimes even twice a day. I guess it has something to do with the dust, pollution and climate condition of Delhi as when I was in the US it wasn’t the case.

If you are a woman you would totally relate to it and feel as depressed as I do seeing my hair have ‘bad hair day’ almost everyday. As the saying goes “The hair is the richest ornament of women. ~Martin Luther” the ornament ‘Hair’ should shine bright and daze the world with its lustre.

Now to surprise package I received from Indiblogger, the Sunsilk Perfect Straight Shampoo and Conditioner.

First thing I liked about it was the shape & colour of the bottle :p (See pics below to know what I mean)

So why and how I decided to ‘End all the crazy hair experiments’ by switching to the “Lock Karo Rock Karo”

  • Loved the fragrance over the transparent and bland L’Oreal Shampoo(Scratch here and sniff)
  • Shine is way better than the shampoo in comparison (It’s like comparing Gassan 121 diamond versus Grade C rock)
  • Don’t know if Yuko did some magic but the Sunsilk conditioner gives way more volume (My hair don’t look flat like a LED Tv)
  • No Crazy hair but crazy hair lock that keeps my hair perfectly straight all the time(Waves are for the beach)
  • Lastly superb value for money as the L’Oreal Shampoo costs me Rs.500 and the conditioner is exuberantly priced at Rs.600, that makes it Rs.1100(Buying the Maruti for Mercedes EMI’s)
