Micromax today launched a new smartphone with the dual rear camera, the Micromax Dual 5 houses dual 13-megapixel shooter at the rear with dual tone LED Flash, another highlight of the device is the security system which comes with an independent high-grade security chip that offers hardware-level security. It is priced at INR 24,999 and will be available on from 10th April on Flipkart and Micromax e-store.

The Micromax Dual 5 comes with impressive specs, it sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, it is powered by Snapdragon 652 processor clocked at 1.8Ghz and coupled with Adreno 510 GPU. The device comes with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage with sd support too, it is packed with a 3200mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 3.0. It is running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.The main highlight of the device is its dual 13MP camera at the rear(color and monochrome), it is a sony made sensor with aperture of f/1.8, 1.12μp pixel size, Phase Detection Auto Focus(PDFA), dual tone flash, gorilla glass surface and it comes with support for 4K, Slow-Mo, Gif, 3D video support. Also, the device comes with a dedicated shutter button on the side. There is a 13-megapixel camera with soft LED flash at the front for selfies.

Another important feature of the phone is the Security, Dual 5 comes with a dedicated hardware security along with the software security features. In normal phones, the fingerprint password imaging and other passwords are stored at a software level, in the Dual 5, all the user credentials and security passwords are encrypted and saved in the dedicated security hardware chip, making it almost impossible to hack. Dual 5 has an independent high-grade security chip that offers hardware-level security. This chip is military grade and unbreakable and has passed the CC EAL5 + security certification, which is the highest standards of ordinary civilian security level certification. Any attempt to pull out the SIM card would lock the phone capturing the picture of the suspected intruder.Other features of the device include a rear fingerprint scanner, USB Type-c, Bluetooth 4.1, Wifi Dual Band support,  IR Blaster, 3D antenna technology for better signal reception. The device is made up of single slab aircraft grade aluminum. The customizable smart key at the left of the device can be used to take the picture, toggle torch, record audio, clean app, camera shutter and more. And, it comes with the 1-year replacement policy.
