OnMobile Global Limited has announced the launch of its ONMO+ Smart Console on Flipkart, marking the company’s entry into India’s console gaming segment. The new offering combines cloud gaming technology with dedicated hardware, allowing users to access premium games across multiple devices without the need for a high-end gaming PC or traditional gaming console.
The ONMO+ Smart Console is designed to work with televisions, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, enabling users to play games through cloud-based infrastructure. According to the company, the package includes a Smart Console, a Pro Controller, access to hundreds of games, and cross-platform compatibility.
OnMobile says the service is powered by custom gaming GPU servers developed in partnership with AMD and ASRock Rack, with infrastructure deployed in northern and southern India. The company claims the platform is capable of supporting compatible AAA games while reducing the hardware requirements typically associated with high-performance gaming.
Speaking on the launch, François-Charles Sirois, Executive Chairman and CEO of OnMobile, said the company aims to make premium gaming more accessible by lowering the barriers created by expensive gaming hardware. He added that the launch also represents OnMobile’s expansion from its traditional business-to-business model into the direct-to-consumer market through its partnership with Flipkart.

Sujith Agashe, Vice President of Electronics at Flipkart, said the partnership aligns with the company’s focus on expanding access to emerging technologies and giving consumers more choices in the gaming category.
The launch comes as India’s gaming ecosystem continues to expand, driven by increasing internet connectivity, greater smartphone adoption, and growing demand for digital entertainment. Industry estimates place the country’s gaming community at more than 500 million users across mobile, PC, and television platforms.
The ONMO+ Smart Console is priced from ₹4,999, which includes a three-month subscription. The product became available on Flipkart from June 26, 2026.

While the company positions ONMO+ as an affordable alternative to traditional gaming consoles, its long-term success will likely depend on factors such as game library expansion, cloud gaming performance, internet reliability, and consumer adoption in a market where mobile gaming remains dominant.
