Nokia 5.4

HMD Global has announced the Nokia 5.4 in addition to the Nokia 5 series. This new Nokia smartphone packs in quad rear cameras, a design similar to the previously announced Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4. The company also claims that Nokia 5.4 can deliver two days of battery life on a single charge. On the front, there’s a hole-punch display design, built-in support for OZO spatial audio, along with noise cancellation. The Nokia 5.4 will be available with upto 6GB of RAM and a 128GBs of internal storage.

The Nokia 5.4 features a 6.39-inch HD+ display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset which is coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. As for the optics, there’s a quad rear camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an LED flash module, a 5-megapixel ultrawide snapper, and dual 2-megapixel sensors for macro shots and depth data. On the front, there’s a 16-megapixel primary sensor for shooting selfies. The phone runs on Android 10 out of the box, but can be upgraded to Android 11.

As for the storage, the Nokia 5.4 comes with up to 128GB of onboard storage. Other connectivity options on board include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For biometrics, there’s a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is being powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

Nokia 5.4 Pricing

As of now,  the Nokia 5.4 price has been priced at  EUR 189 (~ Rs. 16,900) for the base variant comprising of 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, while the variant with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage options that are yet to receive official prices. The phone will be available in two colors namely: Dusk and Polar Night. Furthermore, there is no confirmation on the availability of this smartphone in India
