ROG, which is a sub-brand of ASUS, today has announced the launch of the ROG Phone 5 series which consists of the ROG Phone 5, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and also the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. All three of the phones come with the latest and most powerful processor for an advanced gaming experience.

Moving to the phone itself, the ROG Phone 5 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G that features 5G network support as well. Asus has also upgraded the GameCool 5 cooling system along with the all-new performance manager in Armoury Crate for maximum performance for gaming at any time.

It comes with an ultra-smooth 144 Hz display that also offers 1ms. It is an AMOLED panel with an HDR10+ certified display. There is also a 300 Hz touch sampling rate that allows for ultra-low 24.3 ms touch latency. Under the hood, the device comes with a massive 6000mAh battery, so that gamers can play longer, and also the phone comes with a 30-watt HyperCharge adapter that can fully charge the battery in a very short time.

In terms of optics, the phone comes with a 64MP SONY IMX686 sensor, with a 13MP ultra-wide lens and also a 5MP macro camera, whereas, on the front the device 24MP camera. The new ROG Phone 5 series also has got the ROG Vision, which is a rear matrix display but it is only available exclusively on ROG Phone 5 Pro and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate. It would help to show customizable animations in response to a variety of system and in-game events.

 

Now for the pricing and availability, the sale would start from the 15th of April at 12:00 p.m. on Flipkart, and now the ROG Phone 5 comes in two variants, which is 8GB RAM and 128 GB Storage priced at Rs. 49,999, whereas the 12GB RAM and 256 GB Storage are priced at Rs. 57,999. Both of the variants will be available in new color options that would be Phantom Black and Storm White.

Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 5 Pro comes in glossy Phantom Black colour and is available in 16GB RAM and 512GB Storage which is priced at Rs. 69,999. The ROG Phone 5 Ultimate available in matte Storm White colour, which comes in 18GB RAM and 512GB Storage is priced at Rs. 79,999.
