Qualcomm announces a special-edition smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders. While there might have not been a lot of rumours about Qualcomm announcing a device yet, there were some speculations made in the past which turns into reality. Although the device is designed by Asus and remains to be known as Qualcomm device which is named as a Smartphone for Snapdragon Insiders.

For the pricing of this Snapdragon Insiders device, it is priced at $1,499 for Snapdragon Insiders which is around Rs 1,12,047 in India. Snapdragon did give some insights on what users would get in the box, and that includes a Master & Dynamic MW08SI ANC TWS Earbuds, 35W Quick Charge 5 charger, a rubber bumper case and even a braided USB-C cable.

As for the specifications of this Snapdragon Insiders, it comes with a 144Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED panel which can go up to 800 nits of brightness with HDR10 and HDR10+ certification too. Under the hood, this may be one of the most powerful Android devices in the market right now, as it gets the regular Snapdragon 888 with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The device comes with a 4000mAh battery which may not be that big but it also gets support for 65W Quick Charge 5 charging, although that is kind of useless as the brand only gives a 35W power adapter inside the box.

In terms of the optics, it gets a customised Sony IMX 686 sensor which is primarily a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP Ultrawide lens and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Whereas, on the front, there is a 24MP camera for selfies and video calls. It features a physical rear-mounted fingerprint sensor based on Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic Sensor Gen 2. As it is designed by Asus, it runs on Stock Android 11.
