iQOO recently launched its new budget smartphone in India, called the iQOO Z6 5G. While it might sound a bit odd to know that it isn’t actually the successor to the iQOO Z5. Instead, the iQOO Z6 5G is a re-branded version of the Vivo T1 for the online markets, and thus it costs significantly less than the latter. In this article, we have shared the first look of the new iQOO Z6 5G, including its price, specs, and more.

iQOO Z6 5G: Variant-wise Prices

The new iQOO Z6 5G has been launched in India in three variants. They are – 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM +128 GB storage, and the top-spec variant gets 8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB of internal storage, priced at Rs 15,499, Rs 16,999, and Rs 17,999 respectively.

The iQOO Z6 5G gets a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display that supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 240 Hz touch sampling rate. The company also says that it has a 5-layer liquid cooling mechanism. Powering the smartphone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset that is based on a 6 nm process. Moreover, it runs on Android 12-based FunTouch OS.

iQOO Z6 5G: Camera and Battery

The new iQOO Z6 sports a triple camera set-up at the rear. There is a 50 MP primary sensor, a 2 MP depth unit and a 2 MP macro sensor. At the front, it gets a 16 MP selfie snapper. On the battery front, it gets a 5000 mAh battery and the company offers an 18W fast charger.

The new iQOO Z6 is available in two colours, Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black. This smartphone has gone on sale from March 22, 2022, on iQOO’s website and Amazon India. The company is also offering launch offers, under which one can get a discount of up to Rs 2,000 while purchasing this smartphone with HDFC bank cards.
