Dell, the world’s fastest-growing large integrated IT Company stands at Number 8, in a ranking published by The Brand Trust Report, India Study of 2015 that compares ‘trust’ held in brands by consumers. This affirmation and reflection by Dell’s existing and prospective consumer base comes as a significant milestone for Dell in India. Dell is the 8th Most Trusted Brand in India and has emerged as the Most Trusted Brand in the Technology category, complementing the growth the company has charted in the past few quarters.

Speaking on the results of the study, Mr. P. Krishnakumar, Executive Director & General Manager – Consumer & Small Businesses, Dell India remarked, “Giving consumers the “Power to do More” and enabling them to leverage the potential of technology in their everyday lives, is at the core of the consistent innovation which takes place at Dell. I believe that this is a sentiment that has resonated with consumers across the country. This further fuels our objective of delivering great user experiences – a thumb rule in building enduring relationships and trust with our customers. Being deemed the most trusted technology brand by our own consumers is indeed, a momentous and more so, a highly encouraging start to 2015.”

  1. Chandramouli, CEO, TRA, said on the occasion of the report’s launch, “Brand Dell has seen a rather remarkable growth in trust emerging as the 8th Most Trusted Brand, making a leap of 46 ranks this year. Dell has also emerged victorious in the highly competitive technology landscape, highlighting its close relationship with the brand’s customers, its key stakeholders.”

According to Ritu Gupta, Director, Marketing- Consumer & Small Businesses, Dell India, “Building consumer trust is a driving factor behind Dell’s active listening and consumer engagement. Today, we are one of the largest PC vendor in India and the 8th Most Trusted Brand. These are results of a focused and persistent approach, designed to cater to customers in a manner that they feel more closely connected to the brand. In the last year, we have built 400+ Dell Exclusive Stores, increased our customer services to 30000 pin codes, launched innovations for Indian consumers such as the intuitive touch interface in notebooks, more compact and versatile form factors; all in the bid to become a more approachable, and accessible brand.”

Dell has been growing rapidly in the Indian market, with a widespread network of its exclusive stores and a few thousand multi-brand and large format stores & resellers espousing its cause to take PC penetration in the country to the next level. Dell firmly believes in the potential for PC adoption in relatively untapped markets, and is keen to take both knowledge and access to the consumers, enabling them to make technology a companion which can transform their lives. The Brand Trust Report ranking acts as a testimony to these robust efforts by the company to offer versatile solutions and responsive service offerings in order to deliver a holistic technology experience.
