Smartphone chip maker Qualcomm has announced it’s latest processor for smartphones, the Snapdragon 821. The company’s flagship processors are all based on Snapdragon 800 series. The newly announced Snapdragon 821 processor will be 10% faster than its current flagship SoC Snapdragon 820, which is in the heart of smartphones like OnePlus 3, LG G5, HTC 10, Samsung S7/S7 Edge (US variant) and more.

The maximum clock speed of this processor is 2.4Ghz compared to 2.2Ghz on Snapdragon 820 processor. Its a Quad Core chipset with 64-bit Kryo CPU’s. Qualcomm did not inform which GPU it would use, Adreno 540 is our guess and it will be at least faster than Adreno 530, which is clocked at 624 MHz with Snapdragon 820 processor.
