HMD Global has launched its latest mid-range smartphone in India, the Nokia 7.2. The Nokia 7.2 was announced at the IFA 2019 a couple of weeks ago along with the Nokia 6.2, Nokia 800 Tough, Nokia 2720 Flip 4G, and Nokia 110. The smartphone is inspired by Finnish design, Nokia 7.2 combines craftsmanship and quality materials in perfect harmony. As part of the Android One partnership, Nokia 7.2 is Android 10 ready and will receive guaranteed monthly security updates for three years and OS updates for two years.

The Nokia 7.2 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ Puredisplay which is an HDR certified panel. The display on the Nokia 7.2 will convert any SDR content to HDR in real-time. The device is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass over at the front as well as at the rear. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor clocked at 2.2GHz with Adreno 512 GPU. It comes in two variants – 4+64GB and 6+64GB with microSD card support up to 512GB. The smartphone is running on Android 9 Pie and will be getting Android 10 pretty soon and the device is backed by a 3500mAH battery with 10W chatting via Type-C port.

Over to the camera department, the Nokia 7.2 features a triple rear camera set-up with primary 48MP (f/1.8 aperture)+8MP (118-degree ultrawide) + 5MP(f/2.4 aperture) sensors with ZEISS Optics. Over to the front, there is a 20MP front-facing camera with Quad Pixel, ZEISS Optics. Other features of the device include a rear fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dedicated Google Assistant Button, 3.5mm audio jack.
